Helen Payne Prof Dip Psy C

I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor accredited to the National Counselling Society, trained in Integrative Counselling, incorporating a variety of recognised methodologies to best support you and meet your needs. I offer a safe, calm and confidential space to help you express your emotions and explore your worries and challenges, without judgement, at a pace that is comfortable for you. I work with adults and adolescents from 14 years upwards, having particular experience supporting teenagers with a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, anger, eating disorders, self-harm, bullying, family issues and suicidal ideation.

I believe that the quality of the relationship between the client and counsellor is key to the process of healing. By providing an empathic presence and developing trust I will help you gain a deeper understanding of how your past experiences and present choices might be preventing you from leading the life you want.
